August filing reminder

August 15, 2017

Monthly filers are reminded they have a report covering the month of July due on Sunday, August 20. Please note that the FEC does not have authority to extend filing deadlines, even when they fall on weekends or holidays. Filers should plan accordingly. Monthly reports sent by registered, certified or overnight mail must be postmarked no later than August 20, and paper filings sent by other means must be received by close of business on the last business day before the deadline (i.e., Friday, August 18). Electronic filers have until 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on the due date of the report to submit their reports on time.
