AOR 2018-04: Conservative Primary LLC

On May 10, 2018, the Commission considered an advisory opinion request (AOR) from Conservative Primary LLC. In its request, the for-profit limited liability company asked the Commission to review the application of the Federal Election Campaign Act to its plan to create and administer a website to conduct straw polls and advertise the site and the poll results. The Commission was unable to render an opinion by the required four affirmative votes and concluded its consideration of the request.
