Exempt activity that is also Federal Election Activity (FEA)

If an exempt party activity also meets one or more of the definitions of FEA, the activity is subject to the FEA funding rules and restrictions. Levin funds may not be used to fund any activity that refers to a clearly identified federal candidate. As a result, any exempt party activity that qualifies as FEA and refers to a clearly identified federal candidate must be funded entirely with federal funds.
