COMPLAINANT:

SUBJECT: Reporting

DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 8201:1. Accept the conciliation agreement with PA Lawyer Fund and Sid Hawach in his official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the Memorandum to the Commission dated April 22, 2024.2. Approve the appropriate letters.3. Close the file effective 30 days after the date the certification of this vote is signed (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday).
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following action, subject to the Notice of Errata dated January 17, 2024, in the above-captioned matter:1. Open a Matter Under Review.2. Find reason to believe that PA Lawyer Fund and Raymond G. Lahoud in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30104(g)(1) and 11 C.F.R. § 104.4(c).3. Enter into conciliation with PA Lawyer Fund and Raymond G. Lahoud in his official capacity as treasurer prior to a finding of probable cause to believe.4. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated January 4, 2023.5. Approve the Conciliation Agreement, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated January 4, 2023.6. Approve the appropriate letter.
