DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in MUR 8200:1. Accept the signed conciliation agreement with Big Sky Voters PAC and Mary Stranahan in her official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the Memorandum to the Commission dated May 3, 2024.2. Approve the appropriate letter.3. Close the file effective 30 days from the date of certification of this vote (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday).
The Commission failed by a vote of 2-3 to:a. Open a Matter Under Review.b. Find reason to believe that Big Sky Voters PAC and Mary Stranahan in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30104(g)(1) and11 C.F.R. § 104.4(c). c. Enter into conciliation with Big Sky Voters PAC and Mary Stranahan in her official capacity as treasurer prior to a finding of probable cause to believe. d. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated December 21, 2023. e. Approve the Conciliation Agreement, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated December 21, 2023.f. Approve the appropriate letter.
