Dismiss the allegation that Arizona Democratic Party and Rick McGuire in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30121(a)(2) and11 C.F.R. § 110.20(g) by knowingly accepting $600 in foreign national contributions from Antonio Valdovinos.c. Dismiss the allegation that Antonio Valdovinos made $750 in $50recurring, prohibited foreign national contributions in violation of 52 U.S.C. § 30121(a)(1) and 11 C.F.R. § 110.20(b) to Friends of Jevin D. Hodge.d. Dismiss the allegation that Friends of Jevin D. Hodge and Dacey Montoya in her official capacity as treasurer knowingly accepted $750 in $50 recurring, prohibited foreign national contributions in violation of 52 U.S.C. § 30121(a)(2) and 11 C.F.R. § 110.20(g).e. Dismiss the allegation that Antonio Valdovinos and La Machine violated 52 U.S.C. § 30121(a)(1) and 11 C.F.R. § 110.20(i) by participating as a foreign national in the decision-making process of Gallego for Arizona and DSCC with regard to their election-related activities during the 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022 election cycles.f. Dismiss the allegation that Ruben Gallego, Gallego for Arizona and Roy Herrera in his official capacity as treasurer, and DSCC and Allison Wright in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30121 and 11 C.F.R. § 110.20(i) during the 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022 election cycles.g. Dismiss the allegation that Antonio Valdovinos violated 52 U.S.C. § 30121(a)(1) and 11 C.F.R. § 110.20(i) by participating as a foreign national in the decision-making process of Gallego for Arizona with regard to their election-related activities during the 2014 election cycle.h. Dismiss the allegation that Ruben Gallego and Gallego for Arizona and Roy Herrera in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30121 and 11 C.F.R. § 110.20(i) during the 2014 election cycle.
The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to:a. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommendedin the First General Counsel’s Report dated April 4, 2024, subject to the edits circulated by Commissioner Lindenbaum’s Office on June 17, 2024 at 3:47 p.m.b. Approve the appropriate letters.c. Close the file effective 30 days after the date the certification of this vote is signed (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday).
