DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to close the file effective 30 days from the date the certification of this vote is signed (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday) and issue the appropriate letters, as recommended in the Memorandum from Commissioner Allen J. Dickerson dated January 15, 2025.
The Commission decided by a vote of 5-1 to:a. Dismiss the allegation that Frank LaRose violated 52 U.S.C. § 30102(e)(1) and 11 C.F.R. § 101.1(a) by failing to timely file a Statement of Candidacy.b. Dismiss the allegation that LaRose for Senate and Lisa Lisker in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30103(a) and 11 C.F.R. § 102.1(a) by failing to timely file a Statement of Organization.c. Dismiss the allegation that Frank LaRose violated 52 U.S.C. § 30125(e)(1)(A) and 11 C.F.R. § 300.61 by soliciting soft money as a candidate for federal office.d. Dismiss the allegation that Leadership for Ohio Fund and Dustin McIntyre in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. §§ 30103, 30104 and 11 C.F.R. §§ 102.1(d) and 104.1 by failing to timely file a Statement of Organization and reports with the Commission.
The Commission decided by a vote of 4-2 to:Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated November 15, 2024, as last circulated by Commissioner Cooksey’s Office on December 5, 2024 at 12:16 p.m.
