Dismiss the allegation that Advancing Florida made and Keith Gross or Keith Gross for Florida knowingly accepted or received excessive or prohibited corporate contributions in violation of 52 U.S.C. §§ 30116(a)(1)(A), (f), 30118(a), or 30125(e).b. Dismiss the allegation that Advancing Florida violated 52 U.S.C. §§ 30102, 30103 and 30104 by failing to register and report as a political committee.c. Dismiss the allegation that Keith Gross violated 52 U.S.C. § 30102(e)(1) and 11 C.F.R. § 101.1(a) by failing to timely file his Statement of Candidacy.
The Commission failed by a vote of 3-3 to:a. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated June 27, 2024, subject to the edits as last circulated by Chairman Cooksey’s Office on August 8, 2024 at 12:25 p.m.b. Approve the appropriate letters.c. Close the file effective 30 days from the date of certification of this vote (or on the next business day after the 30th day, if the 30th day falls on a weekend or holiday).
