DISPOSITION: The Commission failed by a vote of 1-3 to:a. Find reason to believe that Devolder-Santos for Congress and Jason Boles in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30124(b)(1).b. Approve the Factual and Legal Analyses, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated April 11, 2025, subject to the Office of General Counsel making edits consistent with the reason to believe finding.c. Approve the Conciliation Agreement, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated April 11, 2025, subject to the Office of General Counsel making edits consistent with the reason to believe finding.
The Commission failed by a vote of 1-3 to:a. Find reason to believe that Devolder-Santos for Congress and Jason Boles in his official capacity as treasurer knowingly and willfully violated 52 U.S.C. § 30124(b)(1).b. Dismiss the allegation that Sam Miele knowingly and willfully violated 52 U.S.C. § 30124(b)(1).c. Dismiss the allegation that George Santos violated 52 U.S.C. § 30124(b)(1).d. Approve the appropriate letters.
The Commission failed by a vote of 2-2 to:a. Dismiss the complaint as to the allegations that Devolder-Santos for Congress and Jason Boles in his official capacity as treasurer knowingly and willfully violated 52 U.S.C. § 30124(b)(1).b. Dismiss the allegation that Sam Miele knowingly and willfully violated 52 U.S.C. § 30124(b)(1).c. Dismiss the allegation that George Santos violated 52 U.S.C. § 30124(b)(1).d. Approve the corresponding Factual and Legal Analyses, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated April 11, 2025, subject to the edits circulated by Acting Chairman Trainor’s Office on April 29, 2025 at 9:36 a.m.e.
