DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in MURs 7484 and 7514: 1. Find no reason to believe that Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. (dba KLAS TV 8) and Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., (licensee of KTVN(TV), Reno, Nevada) violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) in connection with the 2018 Nevada debate. 2. Find no reason to believe that Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc. (dba WJET), WQLN Public Media, Manufacturers & Business Association, Mercyhurst University, Mike Kelly for Congress and Ann Coleman in her official capacity as treasurer, DiNicola for Congress and Christine A. Mitchell in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30118(a) in connection with the 2018 Pennsylvania debate. 3. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated August 27, 2019. 4. Approve the appropriate letters. 5. Close the file.
