COMPLAINANT:
SUBJECT: Contributions-Limitations
DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in MUR 7435:
1. Accept the conciliation agreement with David Vitter for U.S. Senate and William Vanderbrook in his official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the Memorandum from the Acting General Counseldated May 3, 2019.
2. Approve the appropriate letter.
3. Close the file.
The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0, on an amended pre-meeting tally, to:
1. Open a MUR.
2. Find reason to believe that David Vitter for U.S. Senate and William Vanderbrook in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30116(f) and 11 C.F.R. §§ 102.9(e), 110.1(b)(3), and 110.2(b)(3).
3. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated June 8, 2018.
4. Authorize pre-probable cause conciliation with David Vitter for U.S. Senate and William Vanderbrook in his official capacity as treasurer prior to a finding of probable cause to believe.
5. Approve the proposed conciliation agreement, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated June 8, 2018.
6. Approve the appropriate letter.
