DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in MUR 7434: 1. Accept the conciliation agreement with Gary Johnson Victory Fund and Christina Needham in her official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the Memorandum to the Commission dated November 1, 2018. 2. Approve the appropriate letter. 3. Close the file.
The Commission failed by a vote of 2-2 to: a. Open a MUR. b. Find reason to believe that Gary Johnson Victory Fund and Christina Needham in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30104(b)(2) and (4). c. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated February 28, 2018. d. Enter into conciliation with Gary Johnson Victory Fund and Christina Needham in her official capacity as treasurer, prior to a finding of probable cause to believe. e. Approve the Conciliation Agreement, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated February 28, 2018. f. Approve the appropriate letter.
