DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to: 1. Find no reason to believe Josh Hawley violated 52 U.S.C. § 30102(e)(1) by failing to file a timely Statement of Candidacy. 2. Find no reason to believe Josh Hawley for Senate and Salvatore Purpura in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. §§ 30103(a) and 30104(a) by failing to file a timely Statement of Organization and file reports with the Commission. 3. Find no reason to believe that Josh Hawley, Josh Hawley for Senate and Salvatore Purpura in his official capacity as treasurer, and Hawley for Missouri and Doug Russell in his official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. § 30125(e)(1) by spending or transferring soft money in connection with federal testing-the-waters or campaign activities. 4. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated April 4, 2018, as last circulated by Chair Weintraub’s Office on May 20, 2019. 5. Approve the appropriate letters. 6. Close the file.
