DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6938: 1. Find no reason to believe that Senator Rand Paul violated the Act or Commission regulations. 2. Find no reason to believe that Rand Paul for President, Inc. and Paul Kilgore in his official capacity as Treasurer violated the Act or Commission regulations. 3. Find no reason to believe that Peter Schweizer violated the Act or Commission regulations. 4. Find no reason to believe that HarperCollins Publishers LLC violated the Act or Commission regulations. 5. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel's Report dated December 18, 2015, subject to the edits last circulated via email by the office of Commissioner Weintraub on February 4, 2016 at 3:26 p.m. 6. Approve the appropriate letters. 7. Close the file.
