DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6924: 1. Find no reason to believe Andrew Winer, Pacific Resource Partnership and John White in his official capacity as treasurer, the Democratic Party of Hawaii, and Friends of Mazie Hirono and Carol Puetto in her official capacity as treasurer violated 52 U.S.C. §§ 30116 or 30118 in connection with the allegations in the Complaint. 2. Dismiss the allegation that the Democratic Party of Hawaii violated 52 U.S.C. § 30125 in connection with its payments to Andrew Winer. 3. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel’s Report dated April 18, 2017, subject to the edits circulated by Commissioner Goodman's office on August 15, 2017 at 1:29pm. 4. Approve the appropriate letters. 5. Close the file.
