DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6469: 1. Accept the Signed Conciliation Agreement with Friends of Sharron Angle and Robert Fee, in his official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the General Counsel?s Memorandum dated November 20, 2013. 2. Approve the appropriate letter. 3. Close the file.
The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in RAD Referral 10L-08 and MUR 6305: 1. Open a MUR in RR 10L-08 and merge that MUR with MUR 6305. 2. Find reason to believe Friends of Sharron Angle and Alan B. Mills, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. ยง 434(b). 3. Find no reason to believe Sharron E. Angle violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, or the Commission?s regulations. 4. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis as recommended in the First General Counsel?s Report dated February 28, 2011. 5. Approve the Conciliation Agreement as recommended in the First General Counsel?s Report dated February 28, 2011, but with an amended civil penalty of $35,000. 6. Approve the appropriate letters.
