SUBJECT: Contributions-Prohibited

DISPOSITION: The Commission failed on a vote of 3-3 to take the following actions in MUR 6459: a. Find reason to believe that the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, Steve Scheffler, Gopal Krishna, and Morris Hurd violated 2 U.S.C. ยง 441b. b. Authorize the use of compulsory process as necessary. c. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis as recommended in the First General Counsel's Report dated June 11, 2012. d. Approve the appropriate letters.
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6459: a. Dismiss MUR 6459 pursuant to the reasons set forth in the Statement of Reasons previously circulated. b. Send the appropriate letters with technical and conforming changes as necessary. c. Close the file.
