DISPOSITION: The Commission failed on a vote of 2-4 to take the following actions in MUR 6337: Direct the General Counsel to ask a further question of Charles Yob - "In the course of any incidental political or fundraising help you have given to the Riemersma campaign, can you confirm that you received no information pertinent to the communications at issue?".
The Commission decided by a vote of 5-1 totake the following action in MUR 6337: a. Find no reason to believe that the Jay Riemersma for Congress Campaign Committee and John Faber, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 441a(f) or 11 C.F.R. § 110.4(c )(3). b. Find no reason to believe that the Republican Member Senate Fund and Scott B. MacKenzie, in his official capacity as Treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 441a(a)(2). c. Find no reason to believe that John Patrick Yob and Strategic National Campaign Management LLC violated the Act. d. Find no reason to believe that Charles Yob violated the Act. e. Approve the Factual and Legal Analyses, as recommended in the First General Counsel's Report dated December 22, 2010, subject to modifications previously circulated and modifications pursuant to the meeting discussion to pages 4 and 5. e. Approve the appropriate letters.f. Close the file.
