DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6300:1. Accept the conciliation agreement with the Gen-X Strategies, Inc., as recommended in the General Counsel's Memorandum dated September 29, 2010. 2. Take no further action as to Jeffrey M. Frederick. 3. Close the file. 4. Approve the appropriate letters.
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6300:1. Accept the conciliation agreement with the Republican Party of Virginia, Inc. and Brian K. Plum, in his official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the General Counsel's Memorandum dated July 22, 2010. 2.Approve the appropriate letter.3. Close the file as to the Republican Party of Virginia, Inc. and Brian K. Plum, in his official capacity as treasurer.
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 on an amended pre-meeting tally, to take the following actions in Pre-MUR 486:1. Open a MUR.2. Find reason to believe that the Republican Party of Virginia, Inc. and Brian K. Plum, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 432(b), 434(b), and 441b(a).2. Find reason to believe that Gen-X Strategies, Inc. (a.k.a. GXS Strategies, Inc.) violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 441b(a) and 441c, and Jeffrey Frederick violated 2 U.S.C. § 441b(a) as a corporate officer.3.
