DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6216: 1. Dismiss the allegations related to the hiring of consultants on the basis of prosecutorial discretion as outlined in Heckler v. Chaney, 470 U.S. 821 (1985). 2. Find no reason to believe that respondents violated the Act or Commission regulations with respect to the asset sale agreement. 3. Direct the Office of General Counsel to draft the appropriate Factual and Legal Analysis and Statement of Reasons. 4. Approve the appropriate letters. 5. Close the file.
