DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 6170: 1. Find no reason to believe that the Tuscola County Democratic Committee violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 433(a) or 434(a) by failing to register and report as a political committee. 2. Dismiss the complaint as to the allegations that the Tuscola County Democratic Committee violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 434(c) and 441d. 3. Approve the appropriate version of the Factual and Legal Analysis, subject to the revisions previously circulated and as modified at the table, including removal of the word "magic" from Page 5 of the final version. 4. Approve the appropriate letter. 5. Close the file.
