DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4 - 0 to approve the revised Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the General Counsel's Memorandum dated August 4, 2009.
The Commission decided by a vote of 5 - 0 to take the following actions in MUR 6095:1. Dismiss the complaint as to the McCain-Palin Compliance Fund, Inc. and Joseph Schmuckler, in his official capacity as treasurer, and send a cautionary letter.2. Find no reason to believe that McCain-Palin Victory Fund 2008 and Lisa Lisker, in her official capacity as treasurer, the Republican National Committee and Tim Johnson, in his official capacity as treasurer, the Michigan Republican Party and Carl Meyers, in his official capacity as treasurer, the Missouri State Republican Committee-Federal and Richard Peerson, in his official capacity as treasurer, the Ohio Republican Party State Central and Executive Committee and Sara Brown, in her official capacity as treasurer, the Republican Federal Committee of Pennsylvania and Patricia Poprik, in her official capacity as treasurer, violated 11 CFR ยง 9003.3(a)(1)(i)(A).3. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the First General Counsel's Report dated May 5, 2009, subject to revisions pursuant to the meeting discussion and subsequent circulation of the revised Factual and Legal Analysis for Commission approval on a tally vote basis.4. Approve the appropriate letter.5. Close the file.
