DISPOSITION: The Commission failed by a vote of 3-3 to dismiss MUR 6047, send a cautionary notification to Vernon Jones for Georgia and Patricia Moore, in her official capacity as treasurer, close the file, and approve the appropriate letter, as recommended in the General Counsel?s Report dated April 3, 2009, as amended in the General Counsel's Erratum dated April 17, 2009.
The Commission failed by a vote of 3-3 to:a) Find reason to believe that Vernon Jones for Georgia and Patricia Moore, in her official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. ยง 441d(a)(1).b) Direct the Office of General Counsel to prepare an appropriate Factual and Legal Analysis and circulate for Commission approval on a 48-hour no-objection basis.c) Open an investigation. d) Send the appropriate letters.
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to close the file in MUR 6047 and send the appropriate letters.
