DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5 - 0 to take the following actions in MUR 5862: 1. Accept the conciliation agreement with Friends of Joe Lieberman and Lynn Fusco, in her official capacity as treasurer, as recommended in the General Counsel's Memorandum dated February 11, 2009. 2. Approve the appropriate letters. 3. Close the file.
The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in MUR 5862: 1. Find reason to believe that the Friends of Joe Lieberman and Lynn Fusco, in her official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. ยงยง 432(h)(1) and (2) and 434(b). 2. Authorize the use of compulsory process. 3. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the General Counsel's Report dated July 2, 2007, subject to the appropriate language revisions pursuant to the meeting discussion. 4. Approve the appropriate letter.
