DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in MUR 5830:1. Find no reason to believe that the U.S.-Cuba Democracy PAC and Gus Machado, in his official capacity as Treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 441b(b)(4)(A)(i), 433(b), 441e(a), or 441f. 2. Find no reason to believe Leopoldo Fernandez-Pujals violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 441e(a) or 441f. 3. Find no reason to believe the Cuba Democracy Advocates, Inc. violated 2 U.S.C. § 441e(a). 4. Find no reason to believe Mauricio Claver-Carone violated 2 U.S.C.§§ 441e(a) or 441f. 5. Find no reason to believe Gus Machado violated the Act. 6. Approve the Factual and Legal Analyses, as recommended in the First General Counsel's Report dated May 18, 2007. 7. Approve the appropriate letters. 8. Close the file.
