DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 4-0 to take the following actions in MUR 5750: 1. Accept the conciliation agreement as to Laffey US Senate and Richard J. Sullivan, in his official capacity as Treasurer, as recommended in the General Counsel's Memorandum dated August 22, 2007. 2. Approve the appropriate letter. 3. Close the file.
The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following action: a) Find reason to believe that Laffey US Senate and Richard J. Sullivan, in his official capacity as Treasurer, violated 11 CFR § 110.6(c)(2). b).............REDACED..................... c) Find no reason to believe that Citizens Club for Growth and Pat Toomey, in his official capacity as Treasurer, violated the Act, and close the file as to them. d) Find no reason to believe that Laffey US Senate and Richard J. Sullivan, in his official capacity as Treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 434(b) and 11 CFR §104.11(b). e) Find no reason to believe that Laffey US Senate and Richard J. Sullivan, in his official capacity as Treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 441b. f) Dismiss as a matter of prosecutorial discretion the allegation that American Labor Services, Inc., and Vincent Indeglia violated 2 U.S.C. § 441b, issue an admonishment, and close the file as to them. g) Approve the Factual and Legal Analyses, as recommended in the General Counsel's Report dated April 30, 2007.h) Approve the appropriate letters.
