DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 5698: 1. Find no reason to believe that the Tenth District Blog has violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 433 and 434 by failing to register and report as political committee or any other provision of the Act and find no reason to believe that the Tenth District Blog has violated 2 U.S.C. § 441d by failing to include disclaimers on its communications. 2. Find no reason to believe that the Committee to Elect Zane Smith, and Barry J. Moltz, in his official capacity as treasurer, has violated any provision of the Act. 3. Find no reason to believe that the Illinois-10 General Election Fund and Matthew DeBergalis, in his official capacity as treasurer, has violated any provision of the Act. 4. Approve the appropriate letters. 5. Close the file.
