DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in MUR 5678:1. Accept the conciliation agreement with Bully PAC and Nancy Schafer, in her official capacity as treasurer.2. Approve the appropriate letters.3. Close the file.
The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 5678:1. Find no reason to believe that Newman Signs, Inc. or Liffrig for Senate and Michael Liffrig, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 441b(a).2. Find no reason to believe that Harold Newman violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 441a(a)(1)(A) or 441f.3. Find no reason to believe that Michael Liffrig or Liffrig for Senate and Michael Liffrig, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 441a(f) or 441f.4. Find no reason to believe that Bully Pac and Nancy Schafer, in her official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. §§ 441a(a)(8) or 441f.5. Dismiss the allegation that Liffrig for Senate and Michael Liffrig, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 434(b), and issue an admonishment.6. Dismiss the allegation that Liffrig for Senate and Michael Liffrig, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 441a(f), and issue an admonishment.7. Find reason to believe that Bully Pac and Nancy Schafer, in her official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 441a(a), authorize conciliation prior to a finding of probable cause to believe, and approve the conciliation agreement, as recommended in the General Counsel's Report dated November 27, 2006.8. Approve the Factual and Legal Analysis, as recommended in the General Counsel's Report dated November 27, 2006.9. Approve the appropriate letters.
