DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5 - 0 to take the following action in MUR 5586: 1. Find no reason to believe that the Florida Democratic Party; Kerry- Edwards 2004, Inc. and David Thorne, in his official capacity as Treasurer; DNC Services Corporation/Democratic National Committee and Andrew Tobias, in his official capacity as treasurer; Florida AFL ?CIO; Florida Education Association; Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers; Florida SEIU or Representative Kendrick Meek violated the Act or Commission regulations as alleged in the complaint filed in this matter. 2. Dismiss the complaint as to Florida Democratic Victory 2004. 3. Approve the appropriate letters, as recommended in the General Counsel's Report dated January 3, 2006. 4. Close the file.
