DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 5 - 0 to take the following actions in MUR 5557: 1. Find no reason to believe that Edward J. Pipkin violated 2 U.S.C.§ 434(a)(6)(B)(iii) and 11 C.F.R. § 400.21(a). 2. Find no reason to believe that Pipkin for Senate, Inc. and Sharon Carrick, in her official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C.§ 434(a)(6)(B)(iii) and 11 C.F.R. § 400.21(a). 3. Approve the appropriate letters, as recommended in the General Counsel?s Report dated October 6, 2005. 4. Close the file.
