DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6-0 to take the following actions in MUR 5509: 1. Find no reason to believe that Kerry-Edwards 2004, Inc., and Robert Farmer, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, or the Presidential Election Campaign Fund Act. 2. Find no reason to believe that the 2004 Democratic National Convention Committee , Inc., and Andrew Tobias, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, or the Presidential Election Campaign Fund Act. 3. Find no reason to believe that the Democratic National Committee, and Andrew Tobias, in his official capacity as treasurer, violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended, or the Presidential Election Campaign Fund Act. 4. Approve the appropriate letters, as recommended in the General Counsel?s Report dated February 24, 2005. 5. Close the file.
