Classic.fec.gov permanently discontinued
The FEC has permanently shut down its legacy website, classic.fec.gov. When we launched the new fec.gov in May 2017, we continued to allow the public access to the legacy website to ease the transition to the new site. However, the legacy website, which was developed in the early 2000s, was hosted on a platform that is no longer sustainable from a security standpoint. In October 2019, we cut off access to static pages on the legacy site. We disabled the rest of the site in January 2020.
Campaign finance information formerly available on classic.fec.gov is available at fec.gov. For example,

We will continue to build new features on fec.gov to ensure that we meet the public’s needs for accessing and understanding campaign finance data and information. Click the "feedback" button at the bottom of any fec.gov page to let us know how we can continue to make our website better. We welcome your feedback.
