The FEC has permanently shut down its legacy website, When we launched the new in May 2017, we continued to allow the public access to the legacy website to ease the transition to the new site. However, the legacy website, which was developed in the early 2000s, was hosted on a platform that is no longer sustainable from a security standpoint. In October 2019, we cut off access to static pages on the legacy site. We disabled the rest of the site in January 2020.
