All Party committees and PACs, regardless of their financial activity, must file a report 30 days after the general election (Post-General Election Report). For the pre-election reporting guidelines, see the January 2012 issue of the Record [PDF].

1 These dates indicate the end of the reporting period. A reporting period always begins the day after the closing date of the last report filed. If the committee is new and has not previously filed a report, the first report must cover all activity that occurred before the committee registered up through the close of books for the first report due.
2 Required only if committee makes contributions or expenditures in connection with the general election during the reporting period.
3 Committees that made general election contributions or expenditures before October 1 and did not previously disclose them must also follow Chart I.
