
The Equal Employment Opportunity Office advises and assists the FEC Commissioners and other principal officers of the Commission in carrying out their responsibilities relative to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended and other laws, executive orders, and regulatory guidelines affecting affirmative employment and non-discrimination in the Federal sector. The Office administers and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidance that prohibit discrimination in the Federal workplace based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, political affiliation, parental status or reprisal.
Any employee or job applicant who believes that he/she has been discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability must contact an EEO counselor within 45 calendar days of the alleged discriminatory act.

Mr. Salley is an FEC veteran with over twenty years of experience in various staff and management level positions throughout the agency (e.g., the Reports Analysis Division, Public Disclosure and Information Divisions). He previously served as Acting Director in 2005 (January - June) and 2006 (March - June). Mr. Salley received his undergraduate degree (B.S. in Social Science) from James Madison University. |
