The Deputy Staff Director for Management and Administration serves as the de facto deputy to the Staff Director and works closely with the Staff Director on meeting a variety of agency-wide administrative and management challenges. The incumbent serves as the first-line supervisor to the Administrative Officer, Commission Secretary, and Human Resources Director, and is the agency Chief Human Capital Officer.
Ms. Nejad joined the Federal Election Commission on November 22, 2010 as the Deputy Staff Director for Management and Administration. She has over twenty-two years of experience with Federal Government in a variety of disciplines, such as planning, historic preservation, portfolio and asset management, budget, strategic planning, property disposal, electronic-government (e-Gov) and information technology. Ms. Nejad is a graduate of the Senior Executive Service (SES) candidate development program and was certified by OPM’s Qualifications Review Board in the fall of 2008. She holds two masters degree: a Master in Architecture from the Beaux-Arts University of Paris, France and a Master in Urban Planning from the San Jose State University, CA, USA. |
