DISPOSITION: The Commission decided by a vote of 6 - 0 to take the following actions in MUR 5920:1.Take no further action except send a letter of caution to the Women's Campaign Fund and Allison Thompson, in her official capacity as treasurer.2. Approve the appropriate letter, subject to revision pursuant to the meeting discussion.3. Close the file.
The Commission decided by a vote of 5-1 on a pre-meeting tally, to take the following actions in MUR 5920:1.Accept the conciliation agreement as to Respondent Monica Cash, as recommended in the General Counsel's Memorandum dated March 17, 2008.2. Approve the appropriate letter.3. Close the file as to Respondent Monica Cash.
The Commission decided by a vote of 5-0 to take the following actions in Pre-MUR 451: 1. Open a Matter Under Review. 2. Find reason to believe that the Women?s Campaign Fund and Allison Thompson, in her official capacity as treasurer, violated 2 U.S.C. § 434(b)(1), (4), and (6)(B)(v); and 11 C.F.R. § 104.3(a)(1) and (b). 3. Find reason to believe that Monica J. Cash knowingly and willfully violated 2 U.S.C. § 432(b)(3) and 11 C.F.R. § 102.15. 4. Merge the resulting new Matter Under Review into MUR 5920.
