Data Related to Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

CMAG Data

The Federal Election Commission (“Commission”) has licensed data from TNS Media Intelligence/CMAG (“CMAG”) regarding media spots run by Presidential, Senate and House candidates during the 2004 election cycle.  The licensed data is contained in the three hyperlinks below. 

These data are Copyright © 2006 The TNS Media Intelligence/Campaign Media Analysis Group of Competitive Media Reporting LLC, and are being made available to the public solely for the purpose of facilitating public comment in connection with the Coordinated Communications Rulemaking of the Federal Election Commission.  Any person who wishes to use the data for any other purpose must obtain prior permission of the TNS Media Intelligence Campaign Media Analysis Group of Competitive Media Reporting LLC. 

Merged Data

The Commission merged the CMAG data with information from the official ballot materials provided to the FEC by each state, to create the merged databases below.  The resulting information contains all the data used to create the graphical representations.
