The FEC held a broad ranging public hearing on January 14-15, 2009, where the Commission received comments on ways that it might improve its compliance and enforcement processes. The hearing announcement was published in the Federal Register on December 8, 2008. Comments received in response to the notice of public hearing appear on this page, along with comments received during the post-hearing extended comment period.
