Campaign Guide for Political Party Committees

August 2004 Edition

This Campaign Guide for Political Party Committees replaces the 1996 edition. It summarizes the federal campaign finance laws applicable to candidate committees as of August 2004. It reflects changes to the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) resulting from the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002. That legislation took effect on November 6, 2002.
