The Procurement and Contracting Office procures goods and services for the FEC. It oversees the acquisition process from "cradle to grave", from the procurements' inception to management and administration, in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation.

Bret possesses over 15 years of acquisitions experience and is a Level III certified and warranted acquisitions officer. He has worked for the Federal Trade Commission, Corporation for National & Community Service, and Dallas Area Rapid Transit. In addition, Bret was active duty United States Air Force (USAF) for over 14-years both as a structural engineer and procurement professional. Bret still serves in the USAF as an IMA Reservist fulfilling a procurement professional role with Langley AFB, VA. He has earned a BA in Contracts Management (USAF) and Management (Park University), a BS in Management at PARK University, and a Masters Certificate in Government Contracts Management from George Washington University's School of Business and Public Management. Finally, Bret is a member of the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA). |
