Judy Berning joined the FEC as Director of Accounting in 2008.  Before joining the FEC, Judy served as the Deputy Director of Accounting and Financial Management in the chief financial office of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency.  Prior to her federal service, Judy gained 20 years of accounting and financial management systems experience in private industry and public accounting.  Judy is a CPA, with a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting from Creighton University.  After graduation and prior to starting her career, she served her country as a Volunteer in Service to America (VISTA).
